Accessible Documents
Accessible Documents
Nowadays, the accessibility laws stipulate that all web documents must be accessible. For this end, they have to be adapted to screen readers for the blind and visually impaired and to additional disabilities.
With the use of advanced dedicated software, we make your web documents accessible, and ensure that they fully comply with all accessibility laws and standards.
Which documents must comply with accessibility laws?
All documents created after October 25, 2017 are required by law to be accessible (excluding third party documents). The aim of the law is to provide a suitable response for users with disabilities, and to allow them to enjoy full access to information on par with the rest of the population.
Immediate response
As the law does not allow uploading non-accessible documents to the web, we at Accessibility Online have a dedicated document accessibility department that will provide you with a quick professional response in full compliance with all current international accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1, ADA, Section 508, AODA, EN 301549, and IS 5568).
Thanks to our acclaimed accessibility team, Accessibility Online was chosen by many official bodies, organizations and municipalities to be their document-accessibility service provider.
Comprehensive Web Document Auditing
As there are some exceptions to the document accessibility law, there may be websites in which not all documents must comply with the accessibility standards. It can be hard to review each and every document – especially on websites with a large number of them. Accessibility Online will map and sort all your website documents and treat only those which are required to be accessible.
Document Accessibility Certification
Each document treated by our team carries a digital stamp, showing it is accessible. This is a non-mandatory, optional service and is provided as per client request.
